About Jason Grove
Jason Grove is a Tennessee-born, Texas-based singer-songwriter whose journey to the stage has been anything but ordinary. A former firefighter and paramedic, Grove spent years serving his community before a life-changing illness forced him to step away from the career he loved. What followed was a renewed focus on another lifelong passion—music.
With more than 20 years of songwriting experience, Jason has become known for blending traditional country music, Texas storytelling, and genuine crowd connection into every performance. His debut EP, Keep The Change, surpassed one million streams on Apple Music, and his songs have earned him opportunities to share stages with artists including Confederate Railroad, John Schneider, and T. Graham Brown.
Now based in Fredericksburg, Texas, Grove performs throughout the United States and internationally, bringing audiences a mix of heartfelt originals, crowd favorites, humor, and stories drawn from a life well lived.
For the past two years, Jason has teamed up with accomplished guitarist, pedal steel player, and vocalist Timmy Neves of Spring Branch, Texas. Together, they perform as The Cowboy Poet Society, a Texas Hill Country duo known for outstanding musicianship, strong harmonies, audience interaction, and a show that is equal parts great country music, storytelling, and laughter.
Whether performing in a Texas dance hall, listening room, festival, or on an international stage, Jason Grove and The Cowboy Poet Society deliver an unforgettable experience built on authentic songs, genuine connection, and the belief that country music should always tell a good story.

She Had Me At Haggard
Jason Grove

"Jason Grove has always loved music. He started on the piano as a child, and then worked his way up to the banjo, and then picked up the guitar. One of his first musical loves was Bluegrass music, but as he got older, he found himself attracted to the West coast sounds of Haggard, Owens and Yoakam. His other influences include Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett and James Taylor. Those influences can be heard in some of his original work. He still loves and writes traditional country music. For Jason, country isn't just a way of life, it's everything he is!"
